Flashcards.gg browser extension

Add a card from selected text on any web page to one of your sets, without leaving the page.

How it works

  1. Select a word or a phrase on any page, right-click and choose “Add to Flashcards.gg”.
  2. A small form opens on the page: the selection is the front, and the set is the one you used last.
  3. Type the back, or press Auto and the AI writes it — the same daily allowance as Auto in the app.
  4. Press Save. The card reaches your phone and your other devices through the usual sync.

Before the first card

You need a Flashcards.gg account and a personal API key. Create a key on the API keys page and paste it into the extension's options.

Privacy

The selected text and the back you type are sent to flashcards.gg only when you press Save or Auto. The key is stored in this browser only. No analytics.
