English vocabulary flashcards from a word list
Start from a list you actually need (a textbook unit, a lesson, words you looked up this week), decide what the back of each card holds, and keep the cards small: one word or phrase on the front, one meaning on the back. A translation is quickest; a short definition plus an example sentence is more work and often sticks better. Then review daily rather than in one long session.
Step by step
- Collect the words
Copy the unit list, or type a topic such as "B1 English: travel and directions". Twenty to forty words make a set you can finish.
- Choose the back side
Translation into your language, an English definition, or definition plus example. Pick one and keep it for the whole set.
- Generate or type the cards
Paste the list or describe the topic; the AI writes the backs in the format you chose. Or type the cards yourself and let the AI fill in only the back.
- Hear the words
Cards can be read aloud with the voices installed on your device, so pronunciation comes with the meaning.
- Review a little every day
Set a daily goal of a few minutes on the days you choose. Spaced repetition brings back the words that are due.

Translation or definition on the back?
Both work. A translation is faster to make and review; a definition with an example keeps you in English. Many learners use translations for beginners and definitions later.

Whatever you can review the next day as well. The daily goal in the app counts minutes, not cards, so you can start small.
Can the app pronounce the words?
Yes, with the voices installed on your device, where a voice for the language exists.
